Baked Chicken with Portobello Mushrooms

Ingredients
6 chicken leg quarters/boneless and skinless thighs
5 tablespoons of olive oil
6 garlic cloves, sliced
2 onions, cut in half and sliced
4 large sliced portobello mushrooms (Very important: remove the stems and black gills.)
Season to taste with: salt, white pepper, freshly ground black pepper, a tablespoon of chicken soup seasoning mix, garlic powder, a pinch of turmeric, a teaspoon of paprika in oil and 2 tablespoons of the paprika oil
Optional: a pinch of red pepper flakes
Optional: Garnish with sesame
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degress Fahrenheit or 180 degrees Celcius
In a large skillet over medium heat, sauté the chicken with olive oil for 3 minutes on each side; transfer to a Pyrex dish.
To the frying pan, add a little olive oil and sauté the onions until they are tender. Add the crushed garlic and sliced mushrooms, and season with salt, white pepper, freshly ground black pepper, a tablespoon of chicken soup seasoning mix, garlic powder, a pinch of turmeric, teaspoon of paprika in oil and 2 tablespoons of the paprika oil, and mix. Optional: a pinch of red pepper flakes
Pour the onions, garlic and mushrooms over the chicken,
Cover with foil; bake for an hour. Remove the foil; bake for 15 more minutes and serve.
