Banana Cookies

 Ingredients 

Ingredients for about 20 large or 30 small cookies:

2 ripe bananas

1 sliced banana for decoration

2 eggs

1 cup of flour

1 3/4 cups of instant oats

2 Tablespoons of butter at room temperature or 1/8 cup oil

1/4 cup of sugar

1/2 cup of brown sugar

1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon (If you like more then a teaspoon)

1 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder

1 cup of chocolate chips

1 cup chopped walnuts

1/4 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Confectioner’s sugar for decoration after baking

 Directions 
  1. In a mixer bowl fitted with a flat beater mix the butter, bananas, white and brown sugar.

  2. Add the flour, cinnamon, baking powder, salt, and mix.

  3. Add the eggs and vanilla extract and mix.

  4. Fold in the chocolate chips, oats, and nuts.

  5. Using a spring spoon, take a tablespoonful of the batter and place it in a lined baking sheet. Put over each cookie a slice of banana.

  6. Bake in preheated oven to 180 ° C or 350 ° F for about 20 to 30 minutes. Until the cookies are golden brown in color. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve as the cookies cool.
