Divine Pasta and Meat Sauce

"The best pasta and meat sauce ever!!!!!" that is what my kids say every time I make it for them.

Ingredients
Ingredients for the meat sauce:
1- 1 1/2 pounds of ground beef
2 tomatoes, cut into small cubes
6 garlic cloves, minced
2 X (56 oz) cans of crushed tomatoes
1 (6 oz) can of tomato paste
1 tablespoon of paprika
Season to taste with salt, white pepper, freshly ground black pepper, dried oregano, dried basil, and a pinch of turmeric
Optional: a pinch of red pepper flakes
1 teaspoon of sugar
1/4 -1/2 cup of water
1/4-1/2 cup of oil
Garnish with chopped parsley
Ingredients for the pasta:
1 lb of any favorite pasta
Water
1 teaspoon of salt
2 tablespoons of oil
Directions
Heat the oil in a large wide saucepan, add the paprika and fry for a minute. The oil will turn red and will give the meat sauce a deep red color and taste.
Add the garlic and the diced tomatoes and bring to a boil.
Transfer the tomato base into a dish.
Into the same saucepan add 2 tablespoons of oil and the ground beef, cook until the beef turns brown in color.
Add the tomato base, cans of crushed tomatoes and tomato paste, water, and stir.
Season to taste with salt, white pepper, freshly ground black pepper, dried oregano, dried basil, paprika, a pinch of turmeric and a teaspoon of sugar and stir. If you have decided to add the red pepper flakes add them now.
Simmer the pasta sauce on low heat for an hour, stirring occasionally.
Boil water in a pot with the salt and oil.
Add the pasta and cook according to the package suggested time.

You could either serve the meat sauce over the pasta or mix the pasta and the meat sauce together. Sprinkle chopped parsley, and serve hot.
