Halva Cake

A delicious soft and moist cake, and so very easy to make.

 Iris’s Tip 
 Ingredients 

3 large eggs

1 cup of flour

3 tablespoons of instant vanilla pudding

2 tablespoons of finely shredded coconut

2 teaspoons of baking powder

1/2 cup of oil or 7 tablespoons (100 grams) of butter

1 cup of sugar

3/4 cups of milk/coconut milk/sour cream

1 1/2 cups of grated halva

1/2 cup of grated chocolate

Confectioners’ sugar to dust with

 Directions 

1. In the mixer bowl, whip the oil/butter and sugar for 2 minutes.

2. Add the eggs, one at a time, and mix for 5 more minutes.

3. Add the milk and mix.

4. Sift in the flour, vanilla pudding and baking powder; mix for half a minute until combined. It is very important not to over mix. 

5. Fold in the Halva, coconut and grated chocolate.

6. Transfer to a round 8-inch baking pan or two loaf pans, which have been greased and lined with baking paper.

7. Bake in a 350 degrees Fahrenheit or 180 degrees Celcisu preheated oven for about 50 minutes, and then check with a wooden toothpick. When the toothpick comes out dry, the cake is ready.

8. Cool; Dust with confectioners’ sugar, and serve.
