Sweet and Chili Chicken

A delicious baked sweet and chili chicken recipe that is extremely easy to make. Serve it with white rice, roasted potatoes, or roasted vegetables.

 Iris’s Tip 

Plan ahead and marinate the chicken overnight and then bake.

 Ingredients 

6 chicken leg quarters, or skinless and boneless chicken thighs, or chicken breasts

3 tablespoons of soy sauce

4 crushed garlic cloves

2 cups of sweet and chili sauce

1/4 cup of honey

Season with salt, white pepper, black pepper, 1 tablespoon of chicken soup seasoning, turmeric, sweet paprika, and a pinch or more of red pepper flakes

 Directions 
  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit or 180 degrees Celcius.

  2. Place your chicken in a baking dish lined with parchment paper; season with the salt, white pepper, Black pepper, 1 tablespoon of chicken soup seasoning mix, turmeric, sweet paprika, and red pepper flakes.

  3. Add the crushed garlic, soy, honey, and sweet and chili sauce.

  4. Cover with foil and bake. Chicken leg quarters for an hour and a half. Skinless and boneless chicken thighs or chicken breast for an hour.  

  5. Remove the foil; roast for 10 more minutes.
